Quasi Gold MD is a strong moving, large framed stallion in a golden palomino coat. He successfully completed his 30 Day stallion performance test in Neustadt-Dosse in 2012 with a very good score of 8.03 for dressage.
As a 4 yr. old in 2013, Quasi Gold went on to win in the young horse classes and young horse dressage tests. He was also impressive in his ability as a sire. He had an exceptional first year of foals, most of which were premiums. Many of them were victorious in the foal shows and 6 of them were qualified for the championships.
From these six, two of them reached the Brilliant Ring, a cremello was the Reserve Champion of the dressage colts with the highest score of 10 for gaits!
The crowd favorite and splash of color at the 2011 Brandenburg Anhalts licensing was this Quaterback son out of a Czech Republic/German dam line from Nuget – Mascarpone GF.
Bred by Marliese Dobberthein, Quasi Gold MD was exciting with his large stride, cadence, and good jumping ability. He caused the Brandenburg-Anhalts' Breeding Director, Dr. Ingo Nörenberg, to say:
"There have already been spectacular Quaterback sons in the German licensings, but one such as this, with such an exclusive color, long lines, and exceptional movement, we hadn't yet experienced."
Licensing committee member Diemar Schulz said about Quasi Gold MD
"The splash of color in this year's stallion collection is not only striking in color and build, but he also moves with large strides through the hall. A horse with exclusive show potential along with a powerful canter. He was also impressive over the jumps. A stallion who justifiably has many fans."
Auctioneer Andreas Aebi noted, "You can drive 100,000 kilometers in order to find such a horse, but you wouldn't succeed." He later added, "I am jealous of the new owner", and he spoke about the sire that will bring happiness to the whole world.
Quasi Gold MD is willing in his work and has a very balanced character.
He is one of only 40 approved sons from the iconic stallion, Quaterback.
Quasi Gold's dam line has Brandenburg, Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Kinsky, and Czech roots. His dam, Numees, completed her mare performance test successfully and is listed in the Performance Mare Book A of the FN. The rest of Numees offspring have received premium status without exception. Thoroughbred and Trakehner blood round out Quasi Gold's pedigree with a refining Thoroughblood percentage xx/ox of 61.68%.
