A warm welcome to Hielo, the cremello Lusitano stallion imported from Spain to Germany, now available to ourAustralian breeders.
“Hielo” is a typical representative of his breed: very people-oriented, polite and very focused on his rider. He has the absolute "will to please" character: always happy at work, learns new things quickly, is completely fearless and lively and relaxed again just as quickly.
In addition to its color, its elastic gait and its willingness to assemble make it interesting. His compact build, stable back and very good hindquarters make training easy for him. This makes it look significantly larger and imposing at "only" 1.55m.
Since his father was not presented at stallion licensing, "Hielo" does not have a full paper from the APSL. But he is purebred and his parentage is impressive.
His paternal grandparents are the famous Ortigao Costa stallion "Onde" with a licensing mark of 74.5 points.
His granddam "Vaidosa" is bred by Luis Pidwell - Coudelaria Santa Margarida (Imperio (Ex Ie-Ie) x Universo MV) with outstanding 77.5 points.
On the maternal side, the grandfather "Quod" is bred by Clube de Campo da Portucale, who was owned by and stood at the "Yeguada la Perla" for many years. It comes from "Dital OI".
His granddam "Unissona" is also bred by Portucale and has lines from Ortigao Costa, Compania das Lezirias, Veiga and Oliveira Irmaos ("Dito").
